The Engineering Agriculture Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) is an entrance examination for admission into engineering, agriculture and medical courses. From 2015 onwards, the EAMCET exam is conducted separately in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states. Contrary to the general trend, the number of aspirants applying for medical courses is higher than engineering.
The 2015 EAMCET examination was conducted by the JNTU Kakinada. Ch. Sai Babu was the Convenor of the exam.
The examination was held on 8 May 2015.
For admission into engineering courses, 1,70,440 candidates have applied and 1,62,807 have taken the test.
The counselling for admission into engineering courses is scheduled to be held from 5 June 2015. The classes are slated to be begin from the first week of July 2015.
